ομιλία με τίτλο «Beyond LLMs: AI Agents as a meta-skill» στην αίθουσα Σεμιναρίων του ΤΜΗΥΠ. Ομιλητής θα είναι ο  κ. Κωνσταντίνος Σκιάνης, Επίκουρος Καθηγητής, Τμήμα Μηχανικών Η/Υ & Πληροφορικής, Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων.

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ

This lecture explores how AI is evolving beyond traditional Large Language Models (LLMs) into intelligent AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and interacting with real-world tools. It will cover the safe and efficient use of AI agents, practical tools and workflows used in industry, and the essential skills students need to effectively collaborate with AI systems. The talk will also highlight why computer science students should care about this shift — from automation and productivity to software development, research, and future careers — positioning AI agents as a powerful meta-skill for the next generation of engineers and innovators.
