Στο πλαίσιο της διοργάνωσης των σεμιναρίων του τμήματος θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 21/10/2022 και ώρα 12:00, ομιλία με τίτλο «Προβλήματα στην διαχείριση δεδομένων από την παραγωγή ΑΠΕ – Ανίχνευση της συσσώρευσης σκόνης σε φωτοβολταϊκά πανέλα» στην αίθουσα Σεμιναρίων του ΤΜΗΥΠ. Ομιλητής θα είναι ο  κ. Μανόλης Τερροβίτης, Kύριος Ερευνητής στο Ινστιτούτο Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων του Ερευνητικού Κέντρου Αθηνά.

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ

Manolis will present the EU research project MORE and will focus on selected technical challenges addressed in the project.  The key objective of MORE is to allow stakeholders in industry sectors with huge volumes of sensor data, especially the RES industry, to: a) scale the management of streaming and historical time series beyond an order of magnitude beyond the state-of-art and b) perform forecasting, prediction, and diagnostics using the entire data available to them with accuracy that outperforms existing approaches. To this effect MORE is implementing a platform that combines edge and cloud computing and it has introduced a number of innovations.
