Στο πλαίσιο της διοργάνωσης των σεμιναρίων του τμήματος θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη 26/6/2018 και ώρα 12:00 στην αίθουσα Σεμιναρίων του Τμήματος Μηχανικών Η/Υ και Πληροφορικής, ομιλία με τίτλο “Human Language Technologies @GPLSIUA”. Ομιλήτρια θα είναι η κα. Estela Saquete, Professor, Department of Software and Computing Systems, University of Alicante.

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
In this talk, the research field of Human Language Technologies as a part of Artificial Intelligence will be presented. It is also known within the Artificial Intelligence community as Natural Language Processing. GPLSI research group (https:/gplsi.dlsi.ua.es/gplsi13/en), at University of Alicante, has been researching in this field since 1993 and the main research will be explained in the talk as well as current and future trends for this field research, such us automatically timeline creation from different documents and languages and fake news detection.
