Description: This course studies on the management of complex data types by database system extensions. The students will learn effective indexing methods and search algorithms for the evaluation of queries and analysis tasks over complex data. The complex data types include spatial data, high-dimensional data, data in road networks and graphs, set-valued and time-series data.
