General
Learning is a complex process with many stages. From Remember, progressively Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate and end up in Create. As students, you will have the opportunity to go through the initial stages of knowledge, to create it and to find out how new knowledge is produced through research.
Especially as students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering you will learn to combine theory with practice, recognize the importance of abstract thinking, apply methodologies and techniques from various disciplines and appreciate the value of a good design. Because our science is rapidly evolving, you need to be ready to adapt to changes and the constant need to acquire new knowledge.
In the context of all the above, the Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies to its students in order to provide them with the general principles and to help them understand and assimilate in the future new technologies, tools and systems.
