Undergraduate Studies
Undergraduate studies at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering last for 10 semesters. The offered courses cover all the spectrum of necessary knowledge in the field of Computer Science. The courses are distinguished as compulsory and elective. In addition, in the 10th semester of their studies students undertake diploma thesis under the supervision of a member of the Department’s teaching staff. Finally, students are given the opportunity to attend a number of courses belonging to the field of study of other departments of the University.
Successful completion of the undergraduate program of studies leads to the award of a integrated master’s degree, in the specialty of the Department, which corresponds to Level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Framework.
Graduates of the Department are in the field of Computer Science(PE86) and enroll as members of the TEE in the field of Electronic Engineering. Recently, professional rights have been regulated for every specialty, and for the specialty of Electronic Engineering.

The courses are distinguished into core (MYY) and electives (MYE). Each course is described by a number code. After the code follows the course title and three numbers. These numbers represent the hours of teaching of theory, exercises and laboratories respectivily. Each course corresponds to its ECTS credits. The ECTS credits of a course express the required workload.
Each academic year offers the compulsory as well as some of the elective compulsory courses.
