The Distributed Management and Processing of Data Laboratory is active in research and development in the field of distributed and parallel processing, management and visualization of data. Computer Systems Laboratory
The Computer Systems Laboratory covers teaching and research activities on computer systems, ie designing, implementing and evaluating systems software (such as operating systems, distributed systems, data storage systems, networked systems) and their applications, focusing on high performance , scalability, reliability and security.
Systems Research Group
Laboratory of Algorithm Technology
The laboratory serves teaching and research needs and is active in the development of standards, algorithmic techniques, and the design and implementation of high performance algorithms.
The activities of the laboratory focus on: (a) the design and implementation of algorithms, and their integration into competing software systems, (b) the experimental study of algorithms for estimating their behavior in real work environments, (c) the development of graphing algorithms (d) visualization of algorithms and their integration into software libraries for educational and research purposes; and (e) training in design and analysis of algorithms.
VLSI Systems and Computer Architecture Laboratory
The VLSI systems and Computer Architecture (VCAS) Laboratory covers teaching and research needs in Electronic and Computer Architecture, ie the design, development and manufacture of electronic circuits / systems and integrated circuits / very high-end integration systems (VLSI circuits / systems ) as well as the architecture of computer systems. The aim of the workshop is to cover the teaching and research needs at undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate and post-doctoral level, as well as lifelong learning programs of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
