Panayiotis Tsaparas
Biography
Undergraduate studies at the Department of Computer Science at University of Crete (1991-1995). Graduate studies at the Department of Computer Science at University of Toronto (M.Sc., 1997, Ph.D., 2003). He has worked as a post-doctoral fellow at University of Rome, La Sapienza (2003), and at University of Helsinki (2004-2006), and as a Researcher at Microsoft Research (2006-2011). He joined the Department in 2011. His research interests include Data Mining and Machine Learning, Social Network Analysis, Information Retrieval from the World Wide Web.
