Georgios Manis

He received his first degree from the National Technical University of Athens, in Electrical Engineering (5 years Diploma degree, 1992). His MSc was acquired from Queen Mary, University of London (1993) and his PhD from the National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (1997). During the academic year 1999-2000 he served as Adjacent Teaching Staff in the University of Patras and in the University of Crete and during the academic years 2000-2002 in the University of Ioannina. He was elected as Lecturer in the Dept. of Computer Science, University of Ioannina, in 2002, an Assistant Professor in 2008 and Associate Professor in 2018. His research interests include Biomedical Engineering, and specifically, Biomedical Signal Processing, Complex Systems and Entropy. He is also active in other research fields.
