SMART TOUR International scientific conference entitled: “Technology as a Driving Force for Augmented Cultural Experiences” will take place on Wednesday 26 (start time 09:45 – end time 14:00) and Thursday 27 July 2023 (start time 10:00 – end time 15:00), in the Seminar Hall.

SMART TOUR platform is mixing Immersive Reality with cloud-based tools, content management technologies, opens standards and access. Immersive cloud driven technology will be coupled with capacity building actions, creative actors and stakeholders networking, clustering and experiential destination management methodologies and strategies. Platform will be offered to the cultural routes actors as a toolkit through cloud infrastructure of the public Academic Networks of Greece (GRNET) and Albania (RASH).

The conference is organized within the framework of the project: “SMART TOUR – Intelligent tourism in cultural routes”. Project co-funded by the European Union and National Funds of the Greece and Albania via Interreg IPA CBC Programme “Greece Albania 2014-2020”.
