In the 10th edition of the Reasearch rankings, which is based on data derived from various data sources including OpenAlex and CrossRef. The bibliometric data for devising the citation-based metrics were collected on 21-11-2023. Position in the ranking is based on a sum of D-indexes (Discipline H-index) of all ranking researcher’s affiliated with a given institution. D-index includes exclusively publications and citation values for an examined discipline.

This ranks the CSE Department of the School of Engineering, 5th among the top Greek University departments and serves as a recognition for the quality and the wide acceptance of the research carried out in the department.
