Description: The course focuses on the fundamental principles and techniques of Natural Language Processing (NLP), with an emphasis on modern methods in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It introduces core models for text representation and statistical approaches, while placing particular emphasis on neural network–based methods and transformer architectures, which currently represent the state of the art in research and applications. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical examples, the course explores applications such as machine translation, sentiment analysis, question answering systems, and conversational agents.
